Covis performs the controls required by the product specifications, also in the presence of the customer’s inspectors and certification bodies, and according to the inspection plan. Covis Group’s quality management system is certified in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard. To guarantee the safety of our services, we apply the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) issued by the European Community to our pressure equipment. The staff of Covis Group is highly qualified and trained to ensure maximum reliability of the work performed.
Our Quality Control operators are certified to perform Non-Destructive Tests (NDT), such as:
- UT: ultrasound tests
- LPI: liquid penetrant inspection
- MPI: Magnetic particle inspection
- VISUAL: visual inspections
- PMI: positive material identification
Our dimensional control tools are of the latest generation and are periodically calibrated to meet the regulatory standards. We use two FARO Pivotal Measuring Arms and one DEA-IOTA P Three-Dimensional Measuring Machine.
