MAERSK CONNECTOR

Maersk Connector is a DeepOcean vessel designed for the installation of DP2 cables. It was designed to meet the challenges of the interconnection and renewable energy market. The ship, with its seven point anchorage system, is able to lay cables on the ground, minimizing the number of joints required. The 7000Te carousel allows the bundled installation of high specification cables without the need to coil the cables. For this project, Covis was awarded by one of its customers the realization of the Bearing Hub and Kingpost, key components of the carousel, according to DeepOcean specified design requirements.
