After a process of revision and reorganisation of our internal standards, we have obtained the ISO 45001:2018 certification for the Occupational Health and Safety Standard.

The ISO 45001:2018 certification represents a structured approach to the continuous improvement of occupational health and safety policies, ensuring that the company adheres to recognised international standards.

A certified mechanical machining workshop
In addition to the recently acquired ISO 45001:2018 certification, the Covis Group complies with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard, which certifies the process of quality management system. Additionally, we ensure the safety of our precision machining by applying the PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) product directive issued by the European Community for pressure equipment.
All personnel working at The Covis Group are highly qualified and trained to ensure the maximum reliability of all machining operations. Our Quality Control operators are certified to perform nondestructive testing (NDE) of the following types:
- UT: ultrasonic inspection
- LP: liquid penetrant inspection
- MPI: magnetoscopic inspection
- VISUAL: visual examination
- PMI: chemical analysis

In order to guarantee the safety and the quality of the precision machining offered by The Covis Group, we proceed with final or intermediate inspections, such as ultrasonic inspections, surface finish and critical dimensions checks. This is an essential and fundamental step that ensures all machining operations are carried out according to the customer’s needs.
Our state-of-the-art dimensional inspection machines are the latest generation, periodically calibrated to meet regulatory standards. We use two Pivotal Measuring FARO Arm and a DEA-IOTA P Three-Dimensional Measuring Machine.
